💡 Why a one-time purchase, not a subscription? Chilltacular! doesn't have ongoing server costs that scale with you — it runs on your iCloud and Apple's CloudKit. Charging you every month for an app you already paid for would be silly.

One app, every Apple device

When Chilltacular! launches, a single purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It's a Universal Apple app — buy it once on any platform, and it shows up on the rest at no extra cost, signed into the same Apple ID.

There is no separate Mac price. There is no "Pro" version of the iPad app. It's one app.

Family Sharing

Chilltacular! Plus will support Family Sharing, so one purchase covers everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group. Each family member gets their own private Mine collection, and you can share collections between family members at no extra cost.

Education and nonprofit

If you're a teacher, librarian, or nonprofit and want to use Chilltacular! with your group, get in touch — we'll work something out.

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. If something isn't right, request a refund through Apple — that's the standard path and it works.

Still being decided

A few things we're still working through and would love feedback on:

  • The exact item limit on the Free tier
  • Whether to offer a small "Tip the developer" in-app purchase for people who want to support the work without needing more features
  • Whether the Mac version warrants a separate "Pro" tier with power-user features (we're leaning no)
